Holy Staff Healer Hellgate 2v2 Helm of Valor Build

Budget version of this build is swapping to mercenary shoes, but both robes arguably equally useful

Skill Swaps (vs Heal/DPS)

In almost all situations you should run ascended passive if running Beam unless there is no interrupt or forced movement on enemy

• Frost Shield against most Ranged DPS - except: Use Purge against Curse running grudge, Purge against Druidic Robe and Purity Robe against Demonic
• Use Purge on Robe if enemy DPS has clearly purgeable buffs: Claymore, Deadly Swipe (Q2) Dagger Pair, Druid Robe, Feyscale Robe
• Against Heavy Crossbow - Pulse + Roll - Use pulse to interrupt sunder (or autofire if needed) and roll to dodge the Debuff, care not to purge your royal cowl using pulse
• Axe - Pulse to keep distance unless this interferes with your DPS playstyle and Refreshing Sprint
• 1h Curse - Pulse to try to interrupt E and Refreshing Sprint or Roll (if running cleanse pot roll may not be necessary)
• Demonic - Beam and Refreshing Sprint
• Rotcaller - Beam and Refreshing Sprint or Roll (E Debuff can be dodged with roll)
• Dagger Pair - Blessing and After Image
• Claymore - Blessing and After Image (After image can be used to dodge E if timed well)
• One Shot Imp - Frost Shield, Pulse and Roll (uses pulse after pulled in and then dodge roll helm or use pulse to interrupt Hellfire Barrage) (use Roll against Polymorph to dodge transformation)

Skill Swaps (Double DPS or One Shot)

• Refreshing Sprint for most matchups, Roll or After Image can be good against Gloves
• Beam against big damage where you expect them to go on DPS and you are running Refreshing Sprint
• Blessing otherwise

Potion Swaps

• T7 Resistance Potion against Double DPS or One Shot where cleanse is not as useful and as default against Heal/DPS
• T7 Cleanse pot as default and against One Shot that has a lot of stun - if you see royal helm or combinations like 1h Dagger and Staff of Balance or Grailseeker
• T7 Cleanse pot against Heal/DPS 1h Curse, Rotcaller, or Hellfire Hands
• T6 Energy Pot against Heal/DPS Purging builds - If DPS has fiend cowl or helm of valor or is running a weapon that can purge like daybreaker, lifecurse, 1h arcane
