Frost Staff PvE DPS Build for Gold Chests

Arctic is the preferred option but more expensive. Chillhowl is the same dps as 1h frost realistically, but can provide your tank some possibly much needed invulnerability. Perma is the worst dps option of these 4 frost staffs, but it's usable if your team is planning on mixed pvp/pve. Switch to scholar robe only if you're on perma and planning on pvp. Use Q1 on bosses.

If you bring scholar robe to a PvE speed clear gold chests team, you hate yourself and your team.

Most of your DPS comes from using Ice Shard(Q2), so I often say that any frost staff is fine.
